Spring Break 2014
(apologies to everyone.  Way too much sharing, but it is for Dave and Les)

Our plans to go to St George fell through so we spent two days in Heber.  We took the kids swimming in the "volcano" at the Homestead.  Rachel was terrified, and I don't blame her.  It was warm but dark and deep.  65 feet.  A little creepy for my taste too.   Emily and I just watched.

The kids have never been horseback ridding before.  They loved it so much!
Since Brent got to swim in the hot springs, I got to ride.  Not a fair trade.

We were home from Heber by Tuesday night and still had four days to fill.
Wednesday we went to this is the place park to see the baby animals.
Emily loved the chicks but didn't want to get too close to the goats.

I've been planning for a year to take my brother to the Comic Convention.  It is at the Salt Palace.  My boys came along, of course.  It was a never ending display of all the people my boys love.  Every super hero you could imagine and Star Wars, Zombies, Samurai, Legos……on and on.  Basically a boys dream land.  There were also many interesting adults who were maybe a little too excited to be there.  It was people watching at its finest.

This is Brady in the mask ^

Friday we went down to Thanksgiving point to the tulip festival.  I'm not sure it was worth the $60 to get in, but it was beautiful.  It made me depressed about my 30 tulips in my yard.  You know I fight hard for my tulips!

Saturday, cute Max came to stay.  We loved the baby animals
so much we wanted to go back with Max.

Sunday, we enjoyed the warm weather hanging out in the front yard and going on a walk.
