Hello everyone.  We are doing well and keeping very busy.  Our week is full with work from 8:am thru 6:00pm.  Family Home Evening on every other Monday with five other Senior Missionary couples, Tuesday Family History Training, Wednesday Institute class and Thursday temple night.  Friday and Saturday is pretty much on our own.  Mom has been very happy since we obtained OOMA phone system and we can now drive directly to COSTCO.  We are starting to feel just like home.  This afternoon I am going to let mom practice driving on the left side of the road.  Pray for us!!  I get it OK after 7 weeks, but still get confused once in a while.

Last week I attended  meetings with two Muslim groups and one Sikh group.  It was very interesting.  I went with Dr. Brian Adams (LDS member, from Arkansas), Director of Multifaith Center at Griffith University.  We are attempting to gather support and money for the Australian Study that LDS Church is the primary sponsor.  The government in Australia is considering removing the income tax deduction for contributions to church charities.  A big problem for all charities in Australia.  So far so good.  We are meeting with approximately 30 other faith groups throughout Australia.  Yesterday, Saturday morning, mom and attended the Emanuel Synagogue (Jewish Church) in downtown Sydney.  We were there to witness a presentation of the "Standing for Something" award to a member of their faith.  A local stake president made the presentation in the meeting and then their Church hosted a wonderful dinner for all those attending.  It was very special and we met lots of wonderful people.  Most all of whom were not LDS.  The Synagogue was close to Bondi Beach, so we spent the afternoon walking and enjoying the beautiful scenery in Sydney.  It is a pretty famous tourist attraction and only about an hour from our apartment  We had a chance to drive over the Sydney Bridge several times yesterday, as well.  I kept getting lost!  Ask Joel, he will understand.  It truly is a beautiful county.  Lots more for us to see and do. Sorry no pictures yet.  I need to find someone here to help me post photos we have taken. I will get on it this week.  Please post pictures of families!!!!!!!!!!! We miss all of you.  Love, mom & dad.
